At For the Nations, Jake oversees theological training and Bible instruction for children, youth, and adult programs. He enjoys a well written book, a competitive sporting match, and being outside with his family.
Sarah was born and raised in southeast Iowa. While attending Iowa State University, Sarah spent her summers as a camp counselor at East Iowa Bible Camp where she began working with refugees. Sarah graduated in 2014 with a degree in Child, Adult, and Family Services. After marrying Jake that same spring, the couple moved to Dallas. Sarah has a burden for families and is driven to help them thrive in their new home country. Sarah also enjoys puzzles, listening to Jim Croce, and searching the city for a place to hang her hammock.
